Dr. Cameron Maynard was born and raised in Central Florida and had early aspiration of becoming a doctor. Dr. Maynard attended undergrad at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas on a football scholarship. He graduated with a Pre-Med degree and was a 4 time Academic All-American student athlete.
It wasn’t until a serious neck injury sustained playing football his senior year that left him with chronic pain and numbness that he was exposed to the healing potential of corrective chiropractic care. After rounds of medications, physical therapy and talk of neck surgery he proceeded against his doctors’ advice to seek out spinal correction from a chiropractor.
The rest is history, over time he regained function and life returned to normalcy as his neck healed naturally. This experience forever changed Dr. Maynard’s view of healthcare to one where the cause and not just the symptoms should be the main focus of patient care. After recovering fully Dr. Maynard enrolled at Life University where he graduated summa cum laude in 2010 with a Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Dr. Maynard founded Maynard Family Chiropractic in 2011 and with the help of his amazing team and doctors quickly turned it into one of the largest health care clinics in the United States. Dr. Maynard resides in Tulsa with his beautiful wife Michelle and their three children; Ruby, Sonny, and Smith.
